The Passover Seder is celebrated together as a family in the Hebrew calendar month of Nissan, on the fourteenth day of that month. Themes of the this appointed feast are: deliverance, spiritual maturity and a move toward a more intimate relationship with our Father. The celebration of this meal is about remembering where we came from and give praise to God for his mighty deliverance.
Exodus 13:8-9 - On that day tell your son, "I do this because of what Adonai did for me when I came out of Egypt." For Adonai brought you out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
